Deep research

Give it a research question and it breaks it into sub-questions, runs multiple rounds of internal and external retrieval, and delivers a structured report with citations.

Sample input and output

Sample input

Map the main vendors, technical approaches and typical customers in China’s industrial visual inspection AI market in 2026, and produce a research brief of up to 3,000 words.

Sample output

The brief includes a market overview (3 data points, each with a source), a comparison table of 6 vendors, analysis of 3 technical approaches, summaries of 8 typical customer cases, and a note on information gaps. All 27 citations are clickable for verification.

Details

An industry or competitor study usually costs an analyst 2–3 days of searching, de-duplicating and cross-checking. The Deep research template turns that into a multi-step Agent workflow: decompose the question, run several rounds of retrieval and verification for each sub-question, then compile a cited report.

External sources come from web search and crawling, internal sources from the enterprise knowledge base, and the two are labeled separately in the same report. Every conclusion traces back to its original source, so there is no content that looks plausible but cannot be checked.

Reports are delivered as Markdown or Word, with a chapter structure that can be fixed to your team template.

  • Automatically breaks a research question into 5–10 searchable sub-questions
  • Cross-checks internal and external sources and flags conflicting information
  • Every conclusion carries a citation link and crawl timestamp
  • Supports a specified output template and length
